About The Dachshund Method
The Dachshund Method is a force-free training school that teaches you how to become modern dog parents! In our puppy essentials class you will learn about: puppy brain development, how to build up confidence in your puppy, how to help regulate their emotions, how to build a strong bond with your puppy, how to hunt with your puppy and how to run structured walks that are fun and fulfilling so that your puppy is having their breed-specific needs met. Getting the puppy period right is so important for creating a stable, calm and happy adult dog which is why puppy essentials focuses on socialisation, bonding and building confidence. In our follow on puppy class we teach lead walking, recall, settle and fun tricks! We also offer dog walking for friendly dachshunds who love to get out in nature, and 1-2-1 training sessions for dachshunds who need to work on toilet training, barking, dog reactivity, recall and walking on a lead. Discounted training is available for rescue dachshunds.
